Hydrostatic Testing

Hydrostatic testing is used to determine if a vessel can safely hold a specific amount of pressure on welded joints and flanges connections. It can also be used for pipe lines to insure no leaks are present in welded joint regions. WJMG can conduct hydrostatic testing at pressures ranging from 10 psi to 35,000 psi.

Testing for hydrostatic testing specification codes such as ASME Section IX, Section VIII, API 1104. WJMG follows the guideline in welding code but also in the guidelines written in ASTM E1003 hydrostatic leak testing. Chart record is validated each year to insure accurate readings for each job.
